The project is an overview of the tragic events that upset Northern Ireland and especially Derry. After a short historical background of the so called Irish question, the narration focusses on the Troubles, the Civil Rights Movement and the painful page of Bloody Sunday. Memory plays a central role: great emphasis is given to meaningful places and monuments like the Museum of Free Derry, Free Derry Corner, Bloody Sunday and Hunger Strike Memorials, the Bogside Murals. Also a reflection about the peace process in Northern Ireland is started leaving a message of hope for the future.
